Chef-owner Douglas Dale (the "dale" in Wolfdale's) is a real craftsman - from ingredients and preparation, to presentation. He went to Japan to study ceramics, but ended up falling in love with the cuisine. He brings that Asian sensibility to his dishes in a subtle way. Dinner only. Seafood is fresh. We had the sea bass, which was delicate in texture and flavorful, and a green curry seafood dish which was equally fabulous. Wolfdale's makes my "top 3" restaurants in the Tahoe City - Truckee area.
