My husband and I met Connie in 2003 when she helped us buy our first home in Belmont. She was highly recommended by several of my husbands coworkers who had recently bought houses through her. Everyone said that she was genuine and really knew the market, and they were right.
As first time home owners, we knew nothing about the real estate or about the local real estate market. She sat down and addressed all of our questions and took the time to put us at ease. She talked about what we wanted and what additional issues we needed to discuss before we bought a house. She literally held our hand through the entire process. When we found a house to bid on, she was there to make sure everything was in proper order, and even made requests to the sellers to fix things to ensure they were up to code before we signed. She steered us in the right direction and we bought a wonderful house that we have loved for the last 11 years.
Our story with Connie doesn't end there. Over the last 11 years, we continue to keep in touch. She is always ready to answer any questions we have regarding the changes in the local real estate market or refinancing. Last year, she came over and gave us advice when we started our latest remodel project and how to maximize our future investment. She even discussed our options when we were thinking about leaving the area.

It was 2007 and Bay area housing prices were hitting rock bottom. I knew it was now or never for my first home purchase. This was a daunting prospect for a 35 year old child of immigrants who grew up overseas - without any parental guidance or role models on a financial investment of a lifetime.
Being wary of the whole prospect, and quite frankly untrusting of most people, I cautiously met with Connie, whom I was introduced via multiple coworkers' word-of mouths. From that initial meeting, Connie patiently met with me multiple times a month, for a FULL YEAR, before I finally made a purchase decision. Throughout this time she was unfailingly patient, and honestly advised me on every detail, with my sole interest in mind. Connie fully earned my trust. 7 years later, she's even stuck around to become a wonderfully lasting friendship, and continues to advise me when I have questions - whether it's a property tax bill, a refinance, or installation of dual-pane windows.
