A long-time personal favorite since it opened in 1981. Been coming here to commemorate special events or to just have a great New Orleans Cajun meal, complete with New Orleans Jazz playing in the background. The atmosphere is festive and the service is personal. Don't miss the muffins - might sound strange for a Cajun restaurant, but their flavors are exceptional. The Cajun Martini, steeped in Jalapeno, is one of their signature cocktails - it's really good. Reservations can be hard to get, but they always take walk-ins at opening time, around 5p - expect a line, though.
