Modern Orthodox synagogue, which was sorely needed after everything else in Palo Alto went black hat. Mechitzah up the middle, Torah goes around, the Chabad rabbi just as likely to give the drash as a student (male or female).
Services followed by a haimish Shabbat lunch every week. Zmirot, foosball, and other games afterward!
We are community members, and our high school children have enjoyed hanging out at Hillel and getting the feeling for what college would be like. And our youngest had her bat mitzvah there last wkend!
Timeliness gets less than a full rating, because our family never comes on time. (We're not proud of this.)
