Diana has taught ice skating to all 3 of my children, and they adore her. In fact, all children adore her, and she adores them. She appreciates each child as an individual and is always positive and supportive. She is not the driven coach to the superstars! Rather, she is the encouraging teacher for recreational skaters.
I have to ding her on timeliness, because she is rarely on time. (We adjust for this and usually just come late ourselves.) In the end, she gives way more time than what she'll charge for. She'll say, "Oh, we were just having fun at the end. You can't pay me for that!"
