Sam's is on the way to Pillar point launch ramp in Halfmoon bay. I pass it when I go fishing and it's always packed so we never go there. They have a lunch truck that went to my office one day and the lobster roll was awesome!!
I was near there with the wife and dog on Sat and wanted to eat lunch so I decided to try it out. The parking lot was full so I was discouraged but people were parking on the street. OK, no problem with parking and although the line was long, we got in right away!! We ate outside and dogs are allowed!
The clam chowder was great and the crab cake was excellent. We barely ate the lobster roll since we were stuffed! I highly recommend it. The view was good too!!
