If you're a do-it-yourself plumber, this should be your first stop. This is where the professionals go - and work. The staff are super helpful. Paul, who I think is the owner, helped me out with my latest toilet issues, including a sewer smell in one of our baths that has stumped every professional plumber that has ever come through our home. Paul also got me into some great Brass Craft 1/4-turn shut-offs for our toilets - so now if there's a "toilet emergency" (you know what I mean) and we need to kill the water on a toilet, we can shut the water off instantly instead of trying to turn a stiff valve in an awkward position a dozen times. Even our kids can now shut off the toilets (really, really, important). On another occasion, we had a broken valve stem in our shower. Once again, Paul was able to identify the part (some long discontinued slightly exotic valve) - and even researched and photocopied the catalog page for me. And although Barron Park couldn't supply me with a new valve stem, Paul was able to tell me where to get one. Wow - that's service! Barron Park also has electrical and irrigation supplies, but I've not used them (yet) for these items. If I need advice, I try to visit on a weekday rather than a super busy Saturday, and mid- to late-afternoon on a weekday seems to be ideal if you need lots of help or are in a hurry.
