The Palo Alto Creamery makes my short list of breakfast spots in downtown Palo Alto. The "Creamery" is a classic diner, offering a quality breakfast at a fair price, in a comfortable and casual setting. They serve consistent eggs and good hash browns. The hash browns are sometimes under-cooked, so you might ask the server to make sure they are well cooked. The steak and eggs are also a good choice if you are feeling the need for extra protein. Like any good diner, you can choose to sit at the counter, a booth, or a table. And it wouldn't be complete without a real juke box that plays honest-to-goodness vinyl 45s. The servers are attentive and friendly.
