There are signs at the entrance and at the front desk, stating that there is no a/c. But that didn't make it easier! They have a large-sized room fan (the kind with spinning blades). But it was fairly noisy. I ended up turning it off when I wanted to sleep, and the heat was bearable.
The pillows were so high that my neck was a little stiff in the morning.
There was a fair amount of street noise.
I gave the cons first, because the lack of a/c in the summer really had to be the first thing said. On the other hand, the room was cheap ($89, with AAA discount), there was a good refrigerator in the room, and the free breakfast was great - hot and cold food. The gal at the front desk was friendly and helpful, explaining where to get the Devil's Postpile shuttle. And the breakfast lady offered me purified water from the refrigerated dispenser (which I hadn't noticed) when she saw me filling my water bottle from the breakfast area's sink.
Not positive I would stay here again.
