We enjoyed a memorable meal at Le Comptoir this past July. We arrived at around 6 and were lucky enough to be seated right away -- evidently the dinner rush started shortly thereafter. We loved -- and would recommend -- the Foie Gras, Thon (tuna), the selection of local cheeses, and the Mousse au Chocolat. We also ordered a carafe of the house wine which was reasonably priced and good. The service was not super attentive nor effusive, but it was perfectly acceptable -- they were very busy and we were not on a tight schedule. We would absolutely return to this excellent restaurant.
