Just got back from Boston and had some great food at Eastern Standard. On the flight over, I sat next to a person from Boston and she said it was great! She reported they are famous for drinks too.
So we arrive there and the bar is packed. I was worried but the three of us had dinner resevations and got seated with a little wait. We order bone marrow and mac and cheese appetizers. Wow, that marrow was great (bad for you) and the mac and cheese was the best I ever ate!!
I ordered the Sat Steak special and marrow poppers ($34). My steak was cut like a prime rib and was crusted with a spicy seasoning. Yum!! My son's pasta was great and his GF's burger was excellent. We had to order the Butterscotch bread pudding and of course it was delicious. It didnt taste like butterscotch (more like caramel) so I loved it. It's pricey but worth it!!
