When I first went to Bonge's in college, it was just a beer bar, serving ONLY beer, with shirts that read "I Drink Beer at Bonge's". Old Man Bonge no longer is there but boy has it changed. It is now a very nice restaurant, a destination spot for the Indy crowd and one of the few restaurants in Indiana that is smoke free! (extra points for that) AND you must be 21 to enter. There is tailgating though. The food is excellent, and includes Applewood Smoked Prime Rib, Harger Duck and local pork and of course their wedge salad. Worth the drive, but get there early, they don't take reservations for under 10 people. They have since added many wines to the menu too.
