Went to see the world of Harry Potter and Epcot but the trip to the Homossasa area to snorkle with Manatees was well worth the drive to see them. It was awesome!! We saw a 20 Manatees, petted a bunch and I even kissed one!
My friends live near there and they recommended Birds Manatee tours. They were really nice and the price was the same as other places in the area. We were lucky to see so many since they recommend the 6am tour but we just couldn't wake up at 4am. It takes almost 2hrs from Orlando so we made the 11am tour and we had no problem seeing them. It was cold so that means they stayed around longer to keep warm in the springs. They gave us wetsuits so it wasn't too cold!
I would highly recommend Birds Manatee tours.
